Hop aboard for the 2026 Easter Bunny Express! Join us at The Yard in Irvine, Kentucky, on Saturday, March 28th or April 4th, for an egg-citing day of family fun! Bring your little bunnies and a special some-bunny to celebrate with the Easter Bunny himself. Start your holiday festivities with a relaxing ride across our 40-acre campus in a vintage 100-year-old open-air baggage car or cozy caboose. Along the way, discover the rich history of railroading in eastern Kentucky and get a sneak peek at the bright future of our Kentucky rail attraction. Then head down the tracks for an Easter egg hunt hosted by the one-and-only Easter Bunny! Tickets are limited—so grab yours quick before they hop, hop, hop aboard!

The Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation (KSHC) is a Kentucky based 501 c(3) non-profit organization operating with the intent to educate, entertain and inspire past, current and future generations by operating historic rail equipment. The hallmark of our efforts is the restoration of Chesapeake & Ohio Railway Steam Locomotive 2716 to operation. The restoration and operation of 2716 and other historic pieces will prove to be living history and will serve as an educational tool, enhancing heritage tourism and stimulating economic growth.
